This Privacy Policy describes how Bible Generator / Versemora (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use:

Versemora counts generic website outcomes on its own Railway infrastructure: visits, successful copy/save/context actions, practice completion, errors by category, and useful return visits. Context includes interface language, broad page type, broad acquisition source, code version, and coarse count/time buckets.
These metrics do not include page URLs or titles, referring URLs, exact topics, verse references, translation choices, search text, email, password, account identity, notes, collection names, prayers or reflections. This release does not load Google Analytics. Our hosting infrastructure still processes network addresses and operational logs to serve and protect the site.
Measurement uses random browser session and retry identifiers. We store only day-scoped hashed retry receipts and daily aggregate counts. Local device state identifies the first useful action and later useful returns without sending a persistent device identifier.
. Turning this off stops new measurement and clears measurement state without removing your library. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also disable measurement. If preference storage is blocked, measurement stays off.
The Extension’s purpose is to show Bible verses (KJV) on the new tab and popup, allow sharing of verses, and optionally sync a free Versemora library.
The v202610.4 extension keeps saved verses, collections, notes, practice drafts, and theme choices in local device storage. If you sign in, it stores an opaque session token and sends your library changes to our account API over HTTPS. It sends basic new-tab and popup open and visible-verse events through our first-party collector to Google Analytics 4. These events contain only the surface, extension version, random installation ID and temporary browser session ID. The extension does not read unrelated pages or request browsing-history, microphone or camera access.
Website analytics record only generic outcomes such as a successful save or practice completion. They exclude your scripture choices and private writing. You may opt out of website analytics through the privacy controls.
Earlier extension releases may send pseudonymous product events to our analytics endpoint, including verse references, surface, version, language, and share destination. The v202610.4 runtime sends generic open and visible-verse events only; it excludes verse references, scripture choices, concern queries, private writing and account details. Extension usage analytics is always on, with no in-app setting to disable it. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not disable these generic extension events. If extension storage is unavailable, identifiers last only for the background worker’s lifetime.
If you start a paid Supporter membership, checkout is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe processes payment and billing details under its own terms and privacy policy. We may receive limited billing-related information needed to grant access (for example subscription status, plan, period end, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers).
We process information where needed to perform our contract with you (for example providing a paid membership you requested), where we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving a free Scripture product (balanced against your rights), where required by law, or with your consent where applicable.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under US state privacy laws. We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
The Extension requests only the permissions needed for its single purpose:
Remote code is not loaded into the Extension package; network calls send structured data to our APIs rather than executing third-party scripts inside the Extension.
The website may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect analytics or non-essential features; core reading features remain available. The Extension primarily uses Chrome extension storage rather than website cookies.
Your free Versemora account library is retained until you delete its entries or delete your account. Account deletion removes its library and sessions. Device-only library content remains on that device until removed, cleared, or uninstalled.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data (for example HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords for accounts, least-privilege access to production systems). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms used by our providers.
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
If you are in the EEA/UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
Our site or Extension may link to third-party sites (for example social networks when you share a verse, or Stripe Checkout). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or communicated by other reasonable means. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
Scripture content is provided for personal inspiration and education. We do not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional counseling advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we provide the services “as is,” and our total liability arising out of privacy-related claims is limited as set out in our Terms of Service, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
