For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sonsβ sons;
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
