So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the kingโs commandment.

Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites.
And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the Lord.

And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the Lord.

And to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord, and likewise at even;

Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the Lord.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the kingโs order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
Then he shall minister in the name of the Lord his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the Lord.
