And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the kingโs chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the kingโs country.
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
For the kingdom is the Lordโs: and he is the governor among the nations.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
